Spring is finally here but it’s already summer in Hudson County! The Hudson County Economic Development Corporation (HCEDC) and New Jersey Community Capital (NJCC) announced Tuesday that its Summer Series 2019 homeownership event will take place Wednesday, May 15th. The ever-generous community partner BCB Bank will be hosting Session One of the Summer Series.
Summer Series 2019 comes courtesy of NJCC and HCEDC. The two organizations partnered last year to provide $200,000 in down payment assistance for first-time homebuyers and veterans in Hudson County. Up to $15,000 in down payment assistance is available for each qualifying household seeking to purchase a home in Hudson County. “We’re excited to get started,” said Program Administrator Daniel Coghlan. “We see Summer Series 2019 as the first big step in our plan to make homeownership possible for qualified residents in Hudson County.”
On Wednesday, May 15 at 6:30 pm BCB Bank will host a first-time homebuyer seminar in its main office, 611 Ave C, Bayonne. All Hudson County residents are invited to come learn how to get the most out of the homebuying process, including accessing up to $15,000 in down payment assistance per qualified household. Housing counselors, real estate agents, and BCB’s mortgage lenders will be available to talk to residents. Real estate professionals welcome!
