Homeownership used to be a source of pride and stability for many families – a resource laid by for the next generation. The price to secure sustainable homeownership these days goes way beyond the means of the average working family. It is not surprising that there’s a housing problem in New Jersey – most New Jerseyans are living in it. Fortunately, New Jersey Community Capital and its credit union partners are working to fix that problem for working people.
The “Address Yourself” program brings together multiple non-profit partners to make a positive difference. Our program educates, finances, and enables working families and individuals looking to take their next step in the journey to homeownership. We’ll provide you with home buying counseling, credit repair and even award your family down-payment assistance grants to cement the home buying process. If you’re looking to purchase in Atlantic County, Bergen County, Cape May County, Essex County, Hudson County, Middlesex County, Monmouth County, Ocean County, and Union County you may have access to up to $10,000 in down payment assistance to put you and your family in the house that fits you. If you’re a veteran looking to purchase a home in Hudson County, ask us about our special program – which offers up to $15,000 for qualified veterans looking to purchase homes in Hudson County.
The Address Yourself program goes beyond offering financial assistance – we’ll go the extra mile to ensure that all working families in New Jersey can walk the path to homeownership. Ultimately, the vision of Address Yourself is to bridge the housing divide in New Jersey. We encourage qualified candidates to call 732-640-2061 ext.310 or ext.116 to discuss your homeownership goals.
